Reporting to Manager Information Services in the Business and Technology Transformation Branch, the Senior Systems Integrator leads project and sustainment activities related to the deployment and management of information technology hardware and software directly supporting key business activities. This would include developing and leading initiatives to deploy mobile devices, digital signage and the supporting software as well as the development and management of sustainment plans.
Major Responsibilities:
Key Qualifications:
1. Post-Secondary education in computer science or related discipline or the approved equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
2. Extensive experience implementing technology in a business environment, including reviewing and analyzing business requirements.
3. Considerable project management experience in all stages of complex information management projects.
4. Considerable experience supervising technical staff and coaching internal business and technical teams.
5. Experience in planning and organizing operational sustainment of business applications
6. Considerable experience in analysis, design, and architecture working on diverse large scale information technology projects.
7. Knowledge of current and emerging information management concepts and technologies including agile development methodology, cloud-based solutions and services, web portals, data migration, business/data modelling methodologies, Enterprise Application Integration, business intelligence and decision support for a multi-tiered, multi-platform, network centric computing environment.
8. Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with corporate clients, external stakeholders and vendors.
9. Knowledge of relevant legislation in the area of Occupational Health & Safety, Employment Standards Act, Accessibility (AODA), Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection (MFIPPA), and collective agreements in a supervisory capacity as it relates to the role.
