Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Vancouver seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to lead and execute integration activities, develop ICDs, and support verification, validation, and requirements management across project packages.

You will coordinate day-to-day interdisciplinary interfaces, work with design leads to resolve issues early, track RFIs and risks, and prepare integration documentation for delivery across packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering and integration.
• P.Eng designation or eligibility preferred; strong cross-disciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Systems Integration activities such as developing and/or reviewing ICDs and gap analyses.
• Support Verification and Validation, Requirements Management, and Configuration Management activities.
• Coordinate day-to-day interdisciplinary integration and interfaces between disciplines, tracking technical interfaces and ensuring inputs are consistent.
• Work with Design Leads to ensure interdisciplinary coordination and identify design issues/EWNs early and log them in the project issues log.
• Monitor inputs and coordination by tracking RFIs, assumptions, risks, deviations, ICDs, and issues; escalate where needed.
• Prepare and maintain integration documentation: design briefs, assumption logs, design decision logs, RFI logs, and presentations.
• Support risk and hazard documentation when requested; ensure Safety Management tasks are completed.

Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role.
