Job summary

ACCU-STAFF is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement and support Microsoft and hybrid infrastructure for complex client environments in Ontario. The role involves leading projects from design through handover and providing Tier 3 escalation support.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of experience, strong VMware/Hyper-V skills, and deep knowledge of Microsoft enterprise tech including M365, Exchange, Windows Server and Active Directory.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive systems/infrastructure experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies.
• Experience with M365, Exchange, Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience implementing infrastructure solutions and managing technical projects.
• Knowledge of storage, backup and disaster recovery.
• Excellent client-facing communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting and escalation support.
• Deploy and support VMware and Hyper-V environments.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and Azure/Entra ID.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and SharePoint.
• Implement and support RDS/Terminal Services, VPN and remote-access solutions.
• Work with SAN/NAS, storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, firewalls, security and connectivity.
• Review client environments and recommend improvements to performance, security and resiliency.
• Develop technical documentation and implementation plans.
• Participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join a growing technology team supporting complex client environments.

We're hiring across two areas:

Projects & Solutions - designing, implementing and migrating infrastructure solutions.

Tier 3 Infrastructure & Escalations - solving complex technical issues and acting as the senior escalation point for critical client environments.

What You'll Do

Pay:

CA$80,000.00-CA$90,000.00 per year

What We're Looking For

Experience with SQL Server, Linux, PowerShell, Cisco Duo, LogicMonitor, NinjaOne, Power BI or Power Automate is considered an asset.
