Job summary

Quantum Technology Recruiting Inc. (QTR) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Downtown Toronto. This hybrid role combines Linux administration, automation, and large-scale migrations, including Nutanix and Solaris-to-RHEL modernization.

You will design and implement Ansible playbooks, manage RHEL environments, and support VMware/Nutanix migrations while contributing to cloud, CI/CD, and security initiatives. The team operates on a 6-month contract with on-site and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of Linux systems engineering experience.
• Expert-level RHEL administration skills.
• Strong Ansible automation and Bash/KSH scripting experience.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Nutanix AHV, VMware ESXi, Azure, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Solaris migrations is an asset.
