YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR :

• Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team on managing on-premises, cloud, network, and security technologies.
• Monitor and maintain critical systems and infrastructure with an unwavering focus on security.
• Proactively learn and grow, staying enthusiastic about the systems you manage and working collaboratively with others.
• Serve as a key resource on large-scale system projects, including complex integrations leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies.
• Research and recommend improvements to automate tasks, optimize resource utilization, and achieve economies of scale.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as needed.
• Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive enterprise success.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR :

• Experience with VMWare virtual desktop infrastructure and server clustering.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL, BMC Control-M, Splunk running on Ubuntu OS, and working in a Windows Server environment.
• Experience in the administration and support of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy, Microsoft Azure Active Directory and SSO.
• Experience with Fortinet security products including firewalls and sandboxing. Technical side – high end, analytical, good communication
• Experience with Cisco and Hp / Aruba networking, SAN storage solutions, and on-premises telecom solutions.
• Exposure or Experience with Hyland OnBase or other enterprise document management system- nice to have
• Experience working in a highly secure environment with the utmost regard for security and privacy, preferably the finance or insurance industry.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and inquisitive skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members.
• Proven ability in interpreting and developing complex network diagrams.
• General Insurance Essentials (GIE) or an equivalent of Insurance Industry courses is required.
• Agile training and certification, ITIL training and certification, Lean training and certification are preferred.
