Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Integration Engineer to lead complex robotics system deployments involving multiple sensors and embedded components. This role requires deep knowledge of Linux systems , robotics middleware, and a proven track record in hardware-software system integration. Due to physical system handling and deployment, the position is hybrid / on-site in Montreal.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and implement full-stack system integration of robotic platforms.
• Manage on-site deployment, testing, and support for sensor-integrated systems.
• Oversee Linux environment setup, system performance tuning, and debugging.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and product teams to ensure smooth system delivery.
• Define integration standards, develop documentation, and mentor junior engineers.
• Work extensively with ROS / ROS2, sensor drivers, and field buses.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related discipline.
• 6–10+ years in system integration for robotics or automation systems.
• Advanced Linux expertise (kernel config, networking, driver installation).
• Skilled with robotics middleware, especially ROS / ROS2.
• Hands-on deployment experience and system-level debugging.
• Strong communication skills in both English and French preferred.

Nice To Have

• Leadership experience or team mentoring.
• Knowledge of real-time systems (RTOS) or safety-critical environments.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), CI / CD, and DevOps tools.
• Proficient in Python / C++ for integration automation and scripting.
