Job Description

Ce poste est idéal pour un professionnel ambitieux, passionné par la résolution de problèmes complexes et le développement de Centres de Contrôle des Opérations Satellitaires (SOCC) de pointe pour de grandes constellations. Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la conception, la construction et la direction de solutions innovantes, en collaboration avec des équipes internationales dans un environnement dynamique.

Responsabilités principales

En tant qu'Ingénieur Système Senior – SOCC, vos missions incluront :


  • Concevoir une architecture SOCC hautement configurable, réutilisable et adaptable, répondant aux besoins des clients.
  • Réaliser des analyses d'architecture et de conception, y compris des décisions make-or-buy.
  • Développer et produire des livrables d'ingénierie (plans, cahiers des charges, documents de contrôle d'interface, concepts opérationnels).
  • Définir et mettre à jour les exigences d'opérations satellites aux niveaux mission et sous-systèmes SOCC.
  • Rédiger des appels d'offres (RFP) et des cahiers des charges (SOW) pour les activités sous-traitées.
  • Examiner les livrables de conception, de construction et de test des sous-traitants pour garantir leur conformité aux exigences.
  • Développer et superviser les plans et activités d'intégration, de vérification et de validation (IV&V).
  • Collaborer avec les autres équipes, fonctions et fournisseurs pour résoudre les problématiques liées aux SOCC.
  • Piloter le développement et l’exécution des programmes de formation SOCC.
  • Supporter les activités de mise en service, incluant des déplacements internationaux pour le LEOP (Phase de Lancement et d'Orbite Initiale) et la formation des opérateurs clients.
  • Encadrer et accompagner les membres juniors de l'équipe.
  • Appuyer l'équipe des opérations satellites lors des phases critiques de mission.


Profil recherché

Qualifications requises :


  • Diplôme ou diplôme avancé en ingénierie ou en physique (idéalement en aéronautique, génie électrique ou sciences spatiales).
  • Minimum 5 ans d'expérience dans le développement de systèmes spatiaux ou dans un environnement opérationnel.
  • Solide connaissance des opérations satellites et des composants SOCC.
  • Familiarité avec les principes de cybersécurité (IAM, communication et stockage de données).
  • Expérience dans le développement de systèmes complexes et critiques pour la mission.
  • Capacité à travailler en étroite collaboration avec des fournisseurs au-delà des limites contractuelles.
  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et de gestion des priorités dans un environnement pluridisciplinaire.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et en équipe.
  • Passion pour l'innovation et l'amélioration continue.
  • Disponibilité pour des déplacements internationaux dans le cadre de la mise en service SOCC et du support LEOP.
  • Excellente communication écrite et orale en anglais ; la connaissance du français est un atout.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior System Engineer – Satellite Operations Control Centers, your tasks will include:


  • Designing a highly configurable, reusable, and adaptable SOCC architecture aligned with client needs.
  • Conducting architecture and design analyses, including make-or-buy decisions.
  • Developing engineering deliverables (plans, specifications, interface control documents, operational concepts).
  • Defining and updating satellite operations requirements at mission and subsystem levels.
  • Drafting RFPs and Statements of Work for subcontracted activities.
  • Reviewing subcontractors' design, build, and test outputs for compliance.
  • Developing and overseeing integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) plans and activities.
  • Collaborating across teams, functions, and vendors to resolve SOCC issues.
  • Leading the development and execution of SOCC training programs.
  • Supporting commissioning activities, including international travel for LEOP and customer training.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Supporting the satellite operations team during critical mission phases.


Profile Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Degree or advanced degree in Engineering or Physics (preferably Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or Space Sciences).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a space systems development or operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of satellite operations and SOCC systems.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles (IAM, data communication, data storage).
  • Experience with large-scale, mission-critical systems development and software integration.
  • Ability to work closely with vendors beyond contractual responsibilities.
  • Excellent organizational and execution skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel worldwide for SOCC commissioning and LEOP support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; French is an asset.

  • Experience with RF antenna communication systems.
