What will your typical day look like?

This role involves programmatic deployment of robust Infrastructure solutions in the cloud. A solid understanding of enterprise storage, compute, AI/ML, and networking technologies is key. The incumbent will be accountable for the duties below.

  • Technical expertise in deploying and configuring AI/ML services in AWS (Sagemaker, EC2, etc.) and Azure (Databricks, Machine Learning, AI Foundry, etc.)
  • Automate the buildout of Infrastructure solutions on the Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud through IaaS
  • Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via automation and orchestration
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to facilitate build out of public cloud-based solutions
  • Working knowledge of Docker or other container technology is a plus
  • Good understanding of key technologies and services offered in Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • Review and implement security requirements for public cloud solutions
  • Monitor, analyze and optimize inter-cloud network connectivity
  • Review Infrastructure capacity and generate KPI reports
  • Document Infrastructure builds and create system support run books
  • Enforce standardization of environment configuration and prevent configuration drifts
  • Lead automation of key infrastructure workflows to drive up efficiency
  • Provide On-Call technical support

Deloitte Management Services seeks an experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to fill a position within the Technology & Infrastructure department in the Information Technology Services organization. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in emerging cloud technologies, with a focus on AI/ML, within a dynamic environment.

You are someone with:

  • Solid programming skills to facilitate automation of Infrastructure build with Git code repositories
  • 5+ years working experience with cloud technologies including expertise on the AWS/Azure platform with focus on AI/ML
  • Advanced knowledge of provisioning resources in the AWS /Azure cloud with focus on automation and AI/ML
  • Cloud certification: Preferably AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
  • Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and logical structuring skills
  • Self-starter, able to work solo and part of a cross functional team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or College Diploma in IT with equivalent experience
  • Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Methodical and detailed approach towards project management
Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. Deloitte is fair and competitive with salaries and rewards.
