Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement and supplier quality, guiding a team of buyers and commodity specialists to achieve quality, on-time delivery, and controlled costs for manufacturing programs.

You will drive data-driven supplier management, develop roadmaps, and align cross-functional teams with senior leaders. A strong leadership background in defense/manufacturing and knowledge of quality standards are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, supply chain, or engineering.
• Certification such as PMI/CPIM/SCMP preferred.
• 10+ years in high-tech/defense/manufacturing.
• Experience leading procurement, supplier-quality, or related teams.
• AS9100D or ISO 9001 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Buyers and Commodity Specialists.
• Set procurement strategy and priorities aligned with programs.
• Manage procurement to ensure quality materials on time and at total cost.
• Develop product-cost and supply roadmaps reflecting business needs.
• Manage supplier quality, non-conforming material disposition, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Identify risks through data analysis and drive mitigation.
