Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, Avionics, in Canada. The role focuses on supplier management for avionics, procurement leadership across change programs, and delivering regular updates to senior management.

Strong contract negotiation and cross-functional collaboration are required. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–12 years in procurement or aerospace, with bilingual French/English capabilities and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5–12 years of experience in Procurement, Program Management or Aerospace.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills; detail oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key Avionics suppliers to ensure adherence to ongoing and upcoming strategic projects.
  • Lead procurement-related activities for various change management phases.
  • Provide regular updates to Senior Management on project tracking and visibility.
  • Represent Procurement with Integrated Product Development teams.
  • Negotiate contracts and draft commercial agreements with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex business problems and harmonize issues.
  • Identify risks and lead mitigation planning and execution.
  • Provide coaching to team members.

What are your contributions to the team?
  • Manage our key Avionics suppliers to ensure adherence to plan of ongoing and upcoming strategic projects
  • Be responsible for all Procurement-related activities for the various change management phases
  • Ensure that correct project tracking and visibility are maintained and provide regular updates to Senior Management
  • Represent Procurement with the various integrated product development team
  • Be responsible for contractual negotiations, resulting from product ranges, with external suppliers and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers.
  • Work in close partnership with various stakeholders in solving and harmonizing complex business problems to program issues
  • Identify and report on potential problems, risks and opportunities. Lead risk mitigation planning and execution.
  • Provide coaching/mentoring to the agents of the team
How to thrive in this role?
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
  • You have five (5) to twelve (12) years of experience in Procurement, Program Management or in the Aerospace industry
  • You have strong analytical skills, personal organization, time-management, attention to detail, self-motivation & commitment to objectives.
  • You are results-oriented with natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • You have a high proficiency with the MS Office suite and in generating presentations for Executive reviews
  • You possess experience in contract negotiations & building relationships and partnerships with suppliers
  • You have experience on development programs (an asset)
  • You possess technical knowledge (an asset)
  • You possess strong communication skills (French and English)
