Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead complex building operations and healthcare construction projects across Canada. You will champion safety, drive quality, and manage schedules with on-site teams, trades, and clients to ensure project excellence.

With 12+ years in construction and a construction credential, you will mentor crews, coordinate with project managers, and uphold infection control and regulatory requirements while delivering results and fostering

Qualifications

• 12+ years of construction experience.
• Experience managing healthcare/hospital construction projects with infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Construction certificate, diploma, or degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record promoting team collaboration.
• Experience with safety regulations, scheduling, quality and cost control.
• Ability to implement creative solutions and work with computers and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety champion across job sites, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
• Proactively manage project materials to meet the Quality Program.
• Mentor on-site teams to foster collaboration and excellence.
• Collaborate with trade partners and consultants to drive the construction schedule.
• Suggest creative methods to boost efficiency and project excellence.
• Support client coordination meetings with project managers on site.
• Ensure materials receipt and adherence to building codes.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory for all projects.
