Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is actively seeking a Senior/Lead Structural Engineering Technologist for our Power team. This role can be performed from anywhere in Canada, with opportunities to lead hydro, renewables, and industrial projects.

You will guide technical teams, ensure design integrity, and coordinate with clients to deliver sustainable engineering solutions in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering Technology from a recognized institution.
• 10+ years of structural design experience in renewables, hydro, power, energy, or industrial sectors.
• CET designation preferred; strong software proficiency and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee structural design projects for hydro, renewables, substations, and industrial facilities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technologists.
• Prepare and review technical documents, calculations, and schedules to meet client requirements.
