Job summary

Segula Technologies in Montreal seeks a Senior Lead Engineer – Integrated Structural & Systems Installation Design to spearhead multi-zone aircraft design and physical integration. You will drive concepts, optimize routing, resolve spatial conflicts, and lead cross-disciplinary decisions from concept through certification and in-service support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multi-zone aircraft installation design.
• Ability to coordinate across stress, materials & processes, aerodynamics, safety, and manufacturing teams.
• Experience with design reviews and substantiation activities.

Responsibilities

• Design and modeling of 3D structures, installation layouts, routing and drawings for aircraft zones.
• Define interfaces, parts, tolerances and attachment schemes for equipment, ducts and brackets.
• Establish integrated structural and systems-installation solutions balancing load paths, safety, and cost.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and external partners for product definition.
• Resolve spatial clashes and interface discrepancies at zone level.
• Lead technical trade studies and design reviews with clear documentation of assumptions and risks.
• Support certification, verification, production, and in-service issues with traceable data.
• Manage engineering changes and configuration data within PLM environment.
