Job summary

Ganotec in Edmonton seeks a Structural Steel Superintendent to lead foremen and craft workers across multiple sites. You will oversee planning, scheduling, cost control and QA to ensure work aligns with drawings and specs.

Qualifications

8+ years in the construction industry with 3+ years in a superintendent or senior leadership role.
Preferably experience in structural steel and steel erection.
Ability to learn Ganotec policies, processes, and project tools quickly.
Strong problem solving, planning and supervisory capabilities.
Proven track record leading diverse teams and coordinating with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate foremen and craft workers across multiple sites to meet timelines.
Develop and implement project plans and schedules with project management teams.
Monitor operations, inspect for quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Deliver safety training and promote a safety-first culture on site.
Manage budgets and enforce cost-control measures; address financial impacts proactively.
Ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and contractual requirements.
Foster collaboration with clients, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
