Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited seeks a Senior/Intermediate Structural Engineer to join the Building Infrastructure group across Eastern Canada offices. Lead design, analysis, and project management for ports, marine facilities, and related sectors.

The role offers flexible hours and hybrid work arrangements to balance project demands with personal life, with mentoring of junior engineers and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in structural or civil engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada (P.Eng.).
• At least five years of experience in structural design; marine preferred.
• Proficient in structural modeling: STAAD Pro and/or Risa 3D.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis for ports, marine, industrial projects.
• Prepare specifications and detailed drawings.
• Review designs for code compliance.
• Investigate existing structures and prepare reports.
• Review shop drawings and provide field services.
• Develop discipline budgets and project schedules.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
