Description

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement: three days a week in the office and two days remote.

This senior engineering position provides opportunities in structural engineering, working on projects related to nuclear facilities and power plants. You will collaborate with a team of engineers, guide less experienced team members, and work on engineering projects involving materials, structural analysis, steel and concrete design.

You will prepare and review design calculations, develop specifications, support drawing development, and perform structural analysis using state-of-the-art tools. There is potential for travel to client sites, vendor offices, and plant locations for reviews and field verifications.

Qualifications

Note: We do not sponsor work authorization in Canada. Candidates must be citizens of countries listed in Appendix A to Part 810 of the CFR to access U.S.-controlled information.

Essential skills and experience include:

• BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering from an accredited program (Canadian or US ABET)
• Five+ years of experience in structural design and analysis
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, ANSYS)
• Knowledge of design codes such as ASCE 7, AISC, ACI
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Valued but not required:

• MSCE degree
• Experience with power plant or industrial structures
• On-site construction support experience
• P.Eng. or SE license
