Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Southampton

Ref: MR11

Salary: up to £47,000

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a successful, well-established Civil and Structural Design Consultancy in Southampton. Our client works across a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, and leisure developments, and you will get the chance to work on projects from inception through to completion stage.

Responsibilities

1. Have gained a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
2. Be Chartered (or working towards) with ICE/IStructE
3. Have a minimum of 3-4 years (or more) consultancy experience ideally working on mixed-use development
4. Have a working knowledge of AutoCAD/TEKLA/TEDDS
5. Feel comfortable assisting in leading and managing a small design team
6. Help promote the company
7. Attend design meetings
8. Have strong communication skills both written and verbal
9. Work well as part of a close-knit design team
