Our client is an award-winning international engineering consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth in Ireland.

The successful candidate will work in a structural team within a multidiscipline office and shall work on varied projects. Our current workload in building and site development projects includes the Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Housing, and Education Sectors for both public and private clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Acting as a Lead Structural Engineer as part of Multidiscipline Design Teams.
2. Design input and oversight of the delivery of all Structural aspects of projects.
3. Preparation of project reports (Planning, Tender, Construction Stage).
4. Preparation of fee proposals and quality submissions for design contracts with public and private clients.
5. Communication with internal and external parties via email.
6. Oversight of preparation of design drawings.
7. Undertaking duties of the Assigned Certifier and Ancillary Certifier.
8. Financial management of design budgets.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
2. Chartered Engineer.
3. Good communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
4. Experience in delivery of Structural Engineering Design.
5. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
6. Experience in use of structural design software.
7. Experience acting as Project C+S engineer on multi-disciplined projects (meeting attendance etc).
