Tri Innovations, based in Calgary, Alberta, seeks a Senior Structural Designer for a full-time role. You will lead design teams, develop complex steel, piling and concrete drawings, and model in 3D using Advance Steel while mentoring junior staff to meet tight deadlines.

Applicants should have a diploma, 10+ years in structural/concrete design, and proficiency with Advance Steel/Navisworks/Bluebeam; relocation to Calgary or current residency in Calgary is required. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a recognized technical institution.
• Previous experience as Project Lead Designer.
• Minimum 10 years experience in design of structural and concrete design.
• Expert in design of Steel Structures, Piperacks, Steel Buildings, Modular Design and Steel Piles.
• Expert in using Autodesk Advance Steel, Autodesk Navisworks and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Project Lead Structural Designer Position.
• Leader in collaborating and communications with multiple disciplines and engineers to produce an efficient and cost-effective product.
• Work closely with senior design staff and structural engineers to create complex structural steel, piling and concrete design drawings.
• Create detailed structural steel and concrete 3D models using Autodesk Advance Steel.
• Mentor junior staff and provide direction to ensure deadlines.
