Job summary

Bouthillette Parizeau inc. is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to lead the analysis, sizing and optimization of steel, wood, and concrete structures within a BIM (Revit) environment for diverse building projects.

You will act as a technical reference, collaborating with engineers, drafters and multidisciplinary teams. The candidate will contribute to design phases, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and support junior staff with complex structural challenges while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural focus.
• OIQ membership in good standing.
• 6–10 years in structural design of buildings in Canada.
• Strong expertise in steel, concrete and wood.

Responsibilities

• Design and size building structures in reinforced concrete, steel and wood.
• Perform advanced structural analyses using ETABS, SAP2000 and SAFE.
• Develop economical structural concepts that meet Canadian codes.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and architects and clients.
• Collaborate with the BIM team to integrate in Revit.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
