Location: Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo, Ireland

Salary: €65,000+ (Negotiable), with a comprehensive benefits package

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the structural design process for projects across public and private sectors, ensuring compliance with Eurocode standards.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Prepare detailed design reports, calculations, and construction drawings, adhering to company procedures and ISO standards.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure the efficient delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level 8 Engineering Degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant structural design experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Eurocode design standards and materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Robot, and the ability to conduct manual design calculations.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and documentation.
• Full, clean driver's license and access to transportation.
• Chartered status or working towards it with Engineers Ireland or ACEI.
• Experience in temporary and permanent works design.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and civil/geotechnical design.
• Previous experience in leading teams and project management.
