We are seeking an experienced product leader to join our Mobility Network & Value-Added Services team within the Chief Product Office. Our team is responsible for defining the vision and product strategy for our mobility network, and managing a roadmap of projects that deliver on the strategy.

As Senior Strategy Manager, you will collaborate extensively with partners across network engineering, consumer marketing, and customer experience teams to drive initiatives that enhance network reliability, advance next-generation technology adoption, and unlock new revenue opportunities.

You will be responsible for translating complex technical capabilities into customer-centric products and experiences while identifying and developing innovative use cases that drive business growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, project management and exceptional communication skills to influence cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain strategic product roadmaps aligned with business objectives
  • Quarterback cross-functional projects where execution relies on cross-functional teams
  • Advocate for user needs, utilizing research insights to enhance the user experience and overall product quality
  • Identify, evaluate and prioritize new revenue streams and monetization opportunities
  • Collaborate with network engineering teams to understand technical capabilities, trends and constraints
  • Partner with consumer marketing to ensure successful go-to-market execution
  • Develop detailed business requirements and user stories for development teams
  • Map end-to-end customer journeys to identify optimization opportunities
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for strategic initiatives and product performance
Qualifications

What you bring

  • Post-secondary degree/certification in business/commerce, technology or a related discipline
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in product management, business development, consulting or related fields
  • A business-ownership mentality, with a proven track record of bringing new products or services to market
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to hold others accountable to deliver on a plan
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen; leverages data-driven thinking to support decision-making
  • Strong storytelling skills; able to present complex information effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Experience in handling large datasets and performing complex data manipulations
  • Solid understanding of wireless network technologies and telecommunications market dynamics
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling value propositions for diverse audiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Great-to-haves

  • An MBA, or certification in product management, project management or related field
  • Industry experience in wireless telecommunications, technology or consumer products
Salary Range: $102,000-$154,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefitssuch as:
