We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Strategy Manager, Financial Modeling to join us. If you have a passion for building sophisticated financial models, quantifying complex deals, and providing the analytical horsepower that drives major investment decisions, you will be an incredible fit.

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together:

As the financial architect for our key growth initiatives, you will be the analytical engine at the heart of our PureFibre program. You will own the development of the complex financial models that underpin our critical commercial agreements, ensuring our investments are not only financially sound but are also structured to create maximum value and drive our core business objectives.

This role is for an analyst who can translate intricate deal structures and business strategies into defensible, data-driven business cases. Your expertise will directly enable the partnerships that fuel our growth.

Here's how:

  • Lead Financial Modeling & Business Case Development: You will build and own sophisticated financial models from the ground up (DCF, NPV, DPP, IRR) to evaluate new investment opportunities. You will be responsible for sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and creating robust business cases that serve as the foundation for our negotiations.
  • Provide Decision Support & Strategic Insights: You will translate complex financial outputs into clear, compelling narratives and strategic recommendations. Your analysis will provide the critical insights needed for leadership to make informed decisions on programs.
  • Collaborate with Commercial & Cross-Functional Partners: You will work as a dedicated financial partner to our commercial, legal, and corporate development teams. You will ensure all deal terms are accurately reflected in the financial analysis and that all stakeholders are aligned on the key value drivers and risks.
  • Enhance Modeling Standards & Capabilities: You will help to continuously improve our team's financial modeling standards, tools, and processes. You will find new ways to analyze data and structure models that give TELUS a competitive edge in evaluating complex deals.
