Sun Life International is seeking a dynamic Senior Strategy and Transformation Analyst to play a pivotal role in our organization's transformational journey. This position is critical in helping achieve our north star of becoming a scalable, nimble, and client-centric organization with a sustainable business model that meets current expectations and future market needs.
As a key member of the Transformation team , you will lead and support organization -wide transformation initiatives. The role will be responsible for shaping strategy, enabling execution and solv ing high impact business problems. You will work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities, run collaborative workshops and translate insights into practical strategies that drive measurable outcomes and lasting impact
Reporting to the Director of Transformation Coaching, t he successful candidate will enable employees and stakeholders to work differently, embrace new thinking and drive sustainable change and growth.
Key responsibilities
Lead S trategic T ransformation I nitiatives - l ead and manage t ransformation initiatives, including proactive stakeholder management, problem framing , solution development , strategic roadmap creation , and delivery coordination
Facilitate C ollaborative W orkshops - d esign and facilitate collaborative workshops to co - create solutions, build alignment and drive decision making. Translate workshop outcomes into actionable roadmaps and lead follow-through to execution .
Support S trategic P lanning and B usiness C ase D evelopment - c onduct in-depth market intelligence research on industry competitor s and trends to support business case development and decision making
Develop E xecutive- L evel R eporting and I nsights - p roduce executive-level report ing and insights on initiative progress, risks and dependencies , leveraging OKRs and KPIs to ensure alignment with strategic priorities
Advance a C ulture of C ontinuous I mprovement - c hampion the evolution of Sun Life International’s continuous improvement program and culture by embedding client centric practices , including L EAN , Agile and Design Thinking into ways of working
Support Change Adoption and Communication for Transformation - p artner with Change Management and Internal Communications to support change adoption, behavio u r change and effective messaging for transformation efforts
Value Stream Process Mapping & Optimization - d evelop a nd maintain a comprehensive portfolio of value stream-aligned process maps to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Contribute to Evolv e Transformation Strategy and Outcomes - c ontribute to the ongoing development and refinement of Sun Life International's Transformation strategy and outcomes
Who you'll be working with:
You will be part of a global, multidisciplinary team with members across Canada , Bermuda, Ireland, Asia , and the US . The Transformation Consultant will work closely with stakeholders across functions including Finance, Operations, Technology, Distribution, Product Development, Strategic Delivery, Risk, Compliance, and Actuarial
What we're looking for:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, strategy, or a related field from an accredited university
5 + years of hands - on experience in transformation or strategy consulting , ideally within the financial services or insurance industry
A s trategic t hink er with p roven experience supporting or leading customer - centric transformation projects, including business case development , strategic roadmapping , execution and value delivery
Experience applying outcome-based performance frameworks such as OKRS to define success, trac k business impact and continuous support performance improvement
Experience with workshop design, facilitation and cross functional collaboration
H ighly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A growth mindset , curiosity for learning and passion for driving meaningful change
Strong analytical approach with the ability to structure problems and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights and actionable recommendations
Strong command of Microsoft Excel (data modelling), PowerPoint (executive story telling), and collaboration tools like Miro and MURAL
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau , ThinkCell and Producity Pro is an asset
Exposure to Agile methodologies and experience working in agile en vironments
Willingness and ability to travel to other Sun Life International locations if require d

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
