Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, supply chain or related field.
• 10+ years sourcing complex reagent BOMs in regulated industries.
• 5+ years of people management driving high-performing teams.
• Proven RFP/RFQ execution and contract negotiation.
• Strong supplier qualification, onboarding, and risk management.
• Experience with global supplier relationships and compliance.
• Ability to balance strategic frameworks with tactical execution.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute global strategic sourcing framework across reagents, plastics, hardware, and electronics.
• Establish standards of excellence and accountability across the sourcing organization.
• Own global commodity strategy including supplier segmentation and risk mitigation.
• Lead supplier selection, RFP/RFQ processes, and supplier comparison on price, quality, and lead time.
• Negotiate MSAs and SOWs to improve total cost of ownership.
• Deliver cost savings, supply assurance, and innovation through sourcing initiatives.
• Oversee supplier qualification, audits, and QA/RA collaboration for compliance.
• Partner with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and quality to align sourcing with product needs.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks with assay teams; develop contingency plans.
• Drive continuous cost reduction and process optimization; act as SME in reviews.
• Build and sustain supplier relationships for long-term value.
