Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Coach. In this role, you’ll work closely with energy teams in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities to identify, evaluate, and implement energy efficiency initiatives. You may support one or multiple clients, providing guidance through both group workshops and one-on-one coaching. The goal is to help organizations apply continuous improvement principles to their energy management practices. Experience with change management, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks is a strong asset. This role requires someone who is not only knowledgeable in energy management, but also passionate about leading fun, interactive, results-driven workshops. You must be able to create an engaging learning environment that encourage actionable takeaways and sustained engagement.

Please note: qualified applicants must be fluently bilingual, English and French and have the ability to travel throughout New Brunswick.

Responsibilities
  • Motivate and coach plant/facility management and teams
  • Guide the development of overall continuous improvement plans
  • Lead dynamic, interactive group workshops and one-on-one events that inspire participation and drive action
  • Create an engaging atmosphere that energizes groups and individuals and fosters collaboration
  • Facilitate training workshops and other one-on-one events
  • Analyze performance of industrial processes using monitoring equipment and statistical analysis
  • Write reports for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Assist site walk-throughs to identify energy savings opportunities
  • Develop site improvement plans
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in energy management, sustainability, or utility programs
  • Demonstrated success facilitating hands-on, interactive workshops, trainings, or presentations in professional (non-academic) settings
  • Confident and approachable facilitation style that encourages participation, dialogue, and progress
  • Direct experience with energy efficiency in commercial, industrial, or institutional settings
  • Background in coaching, team facilitation, or change management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering
  • Certified Energy Manager designation is a strong asset
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities
  • Fluent in both English and French

$50-$53/h
