Job summary

Wipro Technologies Calgary invites an experienced storage administrator to join our private cloud and data services team. You will deploy, configure, and maintain S3-like object storage, manage NAS, Redis clusters, MongoDB deployments, and NetApp StorageGrid, ensuring high availability and DR readiness.

You will monitor performance, enforce IAM policies, optimize replication, and support migrations and scaling across data centers while collaborating with global engineers in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as a storage administrator or similar role.
• Experience with private cloud storage, object storage, and NAS.
• Proficient in MongoDB administration and Redis deployments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain private cloud S3 object storage infrastructure.
• Manage object storage datacenter clusters, buckets, namespaces, and IAM policies.
• Monitor storage utilization, capacity trends, and performance.
• Design and validate disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Install and maintain Redis Enterprise clusters and tune memory and throughput.
• Support migrations, scaling, and integration across data centers.

Job Description

Key Skills : AWS S3, NAS, Distributed cache management ( Redis), MongoDB, Private Cloud, NetApp StorageGrid, Splunk.

• Deploy, configure, and maintain private cloud Simple Storage Service (S3) object storage infrastructure.
• Manage object storage datacenter clusters, buckets, namespaces, user access, IAM policies.
• Monitor Storage Utilization, Capacity trends, object growth, and platform performance.
• Perform the storage life-cycle management and retention policy administration.
• Ensure that S3 storage clusters are highly available across the multiple data centers.
• Design and validate disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Redis Enterprise Clusters.
• Configure Redis shards, replica and database policies.
• Manage database migration and scaling Activities.
• Analyse the Redis metrics and workload patterns and fine tune the memory, performance, database throughput.
• Optimize the Client connection management and application integration.
• Extensive experience in NAS (Network Attached Storage) services.
• Good to have Splunk Query knowledge.
• Nice to have NetApp Storage Grid experience.
