Render is seeking a Senior/Staff Data Scientist to serve as a strategic analytics partner across the company. You’ll shape product, growth, and business decisions by turning complex data into actionable insight and building scalable analytics foundations.

You will partner with leaders across Product, Growth, Go-to-Market, Finance, and Engineering to define KPIs, run rigorous experimentation, and guide investments. A track record of cross-functional influence and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of analytics experience.
• Strong business and product judgment.
• Experience defining and using metrics across product, growth, finance, or other domains.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with experimentation and statistical analysis.
• Experience with modern analytics tooling.
• Influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding/tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic analytics partner with cross-functional teams.
• Define metrics and measurement frameworks for acquisition, activation, adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue.
• Turn data into strategy by surfacing patterns and prioritizing investments.
• Design and analyze experiments and guardrail metrics.
• Build instrumentation and measurement plans for new products and initiatives.
• Build trusted analytical foundations with dbt models and semantic layers.
• Raise analytical standards and mentor teams in measurement and data literacy.
• Explore AI-assisted tools to accelerate analytics while maintaining rigor.
