As a Senior / Staff Backend Engineer, You Will

• Build and ship features for North, our AI workspace platform
• Develop autonomous agents that interact with sensitive enterprise data
• Write and deploy minimal code optimized for low-resource environments with stringent deployment mechanisms
• Innovate in security and privacy, sometimes re-inventing the wheel without relying on popular libraries or tools
• Collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art models and techniques

You May Be a Good Fit If

• You have shipped extensive Python code in production
• You have built and deployed high-performance client-side or server-side RAG/agentic applications to millions of users
• You possess strong coding skills and can work across the stack, understanding and fixing issues outside your main code base
• You have experience in both large enterprises and startups
• You thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
