The opportunity

As an Assurance Senior, you will be a professional member of the Assurance practice, delivering quality assurance services to clients and stakeholders, supported by our investments in technology, knowledge, and learning resources.

Your key responsibilities

• Deliver quality assurance services to clients and stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, assessing satisfaction.
• Maintain contact with clients throughout the year.
• Manage daily fieldwork, inform supervisors of engagement status, and oversee staff performance.
• Adapt audit approaches to changing client environments.
• Apply complex accounting and auditing concepts effectively.
• Develop team members through delegation, guidance, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Foster an innovative, team-oriented work environment, contributing ideas and listening to others.
• Utilize technology for continuous learning and service improvement.
• Maintain ongoing professional development and understand EY’s service lines, encouraging team contributions.

To qualify for the role you must have

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or related field.
• Canadian CPA designation or equivalent, or currently completing it.
• 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Integrity and professionalism.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team environment.
