Job Description

The responsibilities are as follows :

Prepare / review compilation and review engagement files, financial statements and corporate income tax returns for a wide variety of clients
Prepare / review personal income tax returns and trust income tax returns
Prepare / review a variety of Tslips
Fulfills a variety of support roles in accounting and bookkeeping for clients
Prepare / review GST and other statutory returns for clients as required
Assists with special projects as assigned by partners and managers

Qualifications :

Enrolled in the CPA program or a current CPA

Great work ethic and ability to work in a team environment

Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with both clients and colleagues

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Additional skills of a preferred candidate :

Familiarity with accounting and tax software (SAGE, QuickBooks, TaxPrep, CaseWare)

Corporate accounting or financial statement experience

Corporate tax experience

Personal tax experience

Bookkeeping experience
