We are seeking a self-motivated Senior Sprinkler Designer to join our team. In this role, you will produce drawings for various building types, including commercial, residential, industrial, and healthcare facilities.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Fire Protection Engineering & Technology or equivalent
• 10+ years experience in fire protection design, preferably with a Fire Protection Contractor
• NICET certification or ability to become certified
• Proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g., Revit) preferred
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and Adobe is an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, listing, and project coordination of Fire Protection Systems
• Collaborate with fire protection designers and report to the design team leader
• Coordinate between management, estimating, design, fabrication, installation, and project management to enhance profitability
• Utilize Autodesk Revit for 3D fire protection design
• Create building models and drawings from conceptual information
• Work with senior team members to develop 3D models
• Coordinate with BIM teams and verify clash reports within 3D models
• Maintain company best practices in fire protection design
• Ensure all deliverables meet NFPA standards and local codes

Pay Range: $82,000 - $88,000 annually
