We are seeking a Specifications Writer who will synthesize, interpret, and compile technical information to create Project Manuals, including procurement, bidding, contract, administrative, and technical requirements for multi-disciplined projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Project Managers, Designers, Job Captains, and Contract Administrators to respond to and resolve issues or concerns.
• Liaise closely with clients to offer technical opinions, recommendations, and explanations of contract requirements.
• Interpret clients' requirements to ensure specifications are accurate.
• Coordinate engineering discipline specifications for inclusion into Project Manuals.

Required Skills

• Architectural or engineering systems design principles.
• Understanding of relevant building codes and jurisdictional requirements.
• Registered with a relevant professional association is an asset.
• Knowledge of architectural software skills (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is an asset.
