Responsibilities:

1. Upgrade the Oracle Cloud Control infrastructure to the latest version.
2. Update/reconfigure ODA infrastructure.
3. Update IP addresses of ODA infrastructure to the latest COMPASS VLAN topology.
4. Relocate and/or backup existing VMs.
5. Re-create database and restore necessary VMs.
6. Create new VMs and/or databases.
7. Failover database to another ODA.
8. Monitor and review Oracle Enterprise Cloud Control alerts.
9. Perform regular ODA health checks.
10. Conduct space analysis and checks.
11. Install the latest patches (including latest Oracle security patches) in the ODA database and Weblogic in both production and backup environments.
12. Maintain the Cloud Control platform.
13. Maintain the Production and Standby Emergency Backup environment and user access control.
14. Provide system support to resolve issues related to Oracle database, Fusion Middleware (Weblogic), Cloud Control, and JEOS VMs.

Current COMPASS ODA Configurations:

• ODA-X9 (to operate in production environment, pending migration completion).
• One ODA X9-2HA with VM provisioning (not bare-metal).
• One ODA X9-2L with VM provisioning.
• Oracle 19C Enterprise Edition (subject to change).
• Weblogic with Fusion Middleware (Forms/Reports) running as VMs on the same ODA.
• Weblogic Candidateaged Server running as VMs on the same ODA.
• Oracle Cloud Control running on all ODAs and their VMs.
• COMPASS ATMS Distributed Functions' Java programs running as standalone JEOS VMs on ODA DOMx (DOM1, DOM2, etc.) [NK1].

Skill Set Requirements:

1. Practical experience in installing, deploying, and provisioning Oracle DB Systems, Oracle 19C Database, VMs, and Oracle Weblogic.
2. Practical expertise in Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) X9 Model Family and Oracle Standby Database Architecture.
3. Practical expertise in building Oracle Virtual Machine (VM) and VM templates.
4. Practical expertise in applying patches in ODA X9 Model Family.
5. Practical expertise in Oracle Weblogic with Forms and Reports Services.
6. Practical expertise in working with JEOS Linux.
7. Project management skills such as planning and organizational skills to complete deliverables on time with high quality results.
8. Experience with similar projects.
9. Ability to build effective relationships with clients.
10. Strong written and spoken communication skills for presentations, reports, and correspondence.
11. Practical experience in Oracle Cloud Control.
12. Practical experience in integrating WLS, JEOS, and Cloud Control in ODA-X9 environment.

Technical Experience and Qualifications - 30%:

1. Experience with Oracle single-node and 2-node RAC DB systems on VMs within the last 5 years.
2. Experience with Oracle Standby Database Architecture and Data Guard within the last 5 years.
3. Experience in building Oracle Virtual Machines and VM templates.
4. Experience with Oracle Weblogic with Forms and Reports.
5. Experience with Oracle Cloud Control.

Project Management Skills - 20%:

1. Experience with project management and delivering high-quality results on time.
2. Experience deploying, installing, and managing similar projects.
3. Strong client relationship skills.
4. Excellent communication skills.

ODA Experience - 50%:

1. Experience with Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) X9 Model Family.
2. Experience applying patches in ODA X9 Model Family.
3. Experience deploying, upgrading, and managing Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and backup/standby databases in ODA.
4. Experience with deploying, upgrading, and managing Oracle Fusion Middleware Weblogic and Cloud Control in ODA VMs.
5. Experience with deploying, upgrading, and managing JEOS Linux VMs in ODA.
6. Experience integrating WLS, JEOS, and Cloud Control in ODA VM provisioning.
