As a Product Owner, you will be part of a team responsible for owning and delivering the tactical execution of the development of the Ethoca Alerts product. You will work closely with development teams to create features that further evolve the product. A key aspect of this role is taking a leadership role within the team and coordinating requirements from Product Managers, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Gather and validate requirements, consulting with product management, development, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Own the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized, cleaned, and refined.
  • Manage all scrum ceremonies for your embedded development team.
  • Decide what to build and what not to build, translating strategic plans into tactical execution.
  • Work with product management to plan releases aligned with corporate goals.
  • Participate actively in Scrum activities such as UAT, clarifying requirements, and sharing the business value of features.
  • Coordinate with development, QA, security, operations, and data teams to deliver releases.
  • Provide post-release education through demos, release notes, and documentation.
  • Engage with customers and end-users to gather feedback on the product offering.

All About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in Agile teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, supported by research and analytics.
  • Experience creating mockups, flow charts, and process diagrams to capture requirements and facilitate discussions.
  • Domain experience in payments and disputes is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in product development and management.
  • Comfort with analyzing transaction flow data to enhance value propositions.
  • Track record of achieving business targets and building relationships.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical product requirements and strategies.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging at senior levels.
  • Ability to understand and explain business context and customer use cases.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to lead process improvements that accelerate development, drive innovation, and lower costs.
