Title and Summary

Services within Mastercard are responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services leveraging expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

The Identity Solutions team develops innovative products to help partners identify their customers and enable simple, secure digital experiences in payments and beyond. A key area is the Payment Verification Team, which develops global ecommerce identity risk insights and data sharing services to verify consumer identities, reduce payment fraud, and increase conversion rates, leading to better customer experiences. We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Product Management for the Data and Insights Team, responsible for:

  • Defining product vision, goals, and roadmaps for data-driven products.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and pain points.
  • Driving project prioritization and timelines.
  • Gathering requirements and translating business needs into data product specifications.
  • Executing the product roadmap within Agile frameworks, managing backlogs and planning iterations.
  • Analyzing data to identify improvements and tell compelling stories.
  • Partnering with customer-facing teams to utilize data effectively.
  • Ensuring data governance, quality, security, and privacy standards are met.
  • Developing training materials and documentation to promote product adoption.
  • Communicating complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Supporting data extraction, transformation, and loading for BI and analytics, and maintaining dashboards.
About You
  • Experience in product discovery, execution, and commercialization, especially with data-driven products.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, and BI tools (Tableau, Domo, Power BI, etc.).
  • Understanding of the payment industry, digital payments, and ecommerce fraud is highly preferred.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with data evidence.
  • Strong analytical and pattern recognition skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and industry trends.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Product Management, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
