About the role :
Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, the Senior Specialist, Cyber Security is responsible for maintaining the cyber security health of Elk Valley Resources. This role involves ensuring compliance with security standards, monitoring and analyzing security toolsets, leading a small, cyber event driven CSIRT team and responding to all security incidents, and implementing measures to prevent future attacks. Additionally, the specialist will collaborate with a larger Glencore Global CDC team to maintain robust security protocols and safeguard EVR’s digital assets.
To be successful, we are looking for a leader with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, who can build and maintain positive relationships with partners across all levels of our organization. We require someone who has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
