Job Title: Senior Specialist Application Security

Job Summary

This role provides strategic and operational guidance to the Manager of Application Security and the Director of Cyber Threat Management to execute a city-wide cyber program that enhances organizational protection.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading application security initiatives, including cloud-native security, DevSecOps practices, and container security strategies.
2. Collaborating with development, security, and operations teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices, assess vulnerabilities, and implement risk mitigation strategies for secure software development.
3. Working with enterprise IT to design, implement, and configure cybersecurity solutions addressing emerging threats and ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
