The Challenge

We are seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer based in Chicago, reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering. You will leverage your technical expertise to support sales efforts, assess our platform for prospective clients, and help differentiate us from competitors.

Your Mission

• Serve as the primary technical contact for integrating systems during major sales opportunities, including creating proposals, responding to RFPs, and delivering tailored demos that showcase how OneTrust's systems can meet client needs.
• Participate in technical deep dives to architect integrations and advise clients on best practices.
• Support sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and designing custom integrations.
• Coordinate with R&D, technical integrations, and partner teams to stay informed about product capabilities and future developments.
• Conduct custom evaluations (proof-of-concept) to demonstrate how our integrations meet client objectives.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the privacy industry, including regulatory environments, industry trends, and customer needs, to effectively support your responsibilities.

You Are

You possess a deep understanding of the privacy industry, including regulations, and use this knowledge to support your primary responsibilities. Staying current with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs is essential for success in this role.

Your Experience Includes

• Sales skills, experience setting up and demonstrating software functions, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the technology sector or enterprise cloud software.
• Proven ability to implement software solutions for enterprise clients.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, CSS; Powershell scripting, ASP.NET, and C# are a plus.
• Experience working with Docker and OpenShift.
• Advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and programming.
• Ability to build relationships across R&D, marketing, sales, and engineering teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.

For candidates in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington: the annual base pay range is $104,325 — $139,100 USD, with compensation influenced by location, skills, experience, and education. The role may include bonuses, equity, commissions, and benefits.
