Job summary

Thri5 Inc. in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to be the primary technical partner for prospective and existing customers.

You will work closely with founders, sales, customer success, product, and engineering to build trusted relationships across IT, data, architecture, and security teams. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, or similar roles.
• Direct experience working with enterprise customers and senior technical stakeholders.
• Experience with retail technology environments and enterprise systems (ERP, POS, inventory, data platforms).
• Strong foundation across cloud architecture, APIs, data platforms, integrations, and security.
• Ability to independently lead technical discovery, solution design, and technical diligence.
• Ability to translate between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and credibility with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Solutions Architect at Thri5, you'll be the primary technical partner for prospective and existing customers. You'll work closely with our founders and leadership team, sales, customer success, product, and engineering, building trusted relationships with customer IT, data, architecture, and security teams.

You'll work across the customer lifecycle, including:

• Leading technical discovery and solution design during the sales process

• Engaging with CIOs and senior retail technology leaders to communicate Thri5's technical vision, architecture, and approach

• Designing how Thri5 connects with customer data platforms, systems, and workflows

• Navigating technical diligence, including architecture, security, data, and integration requirements

• Leading the technical aspects of customer onboarding and deployment

• Translating customer requirements into solutions in partnership with product and engineering

• Supporting the technical aspects of customer expansion into new use cases, markets, and data sources

You'll need to be equally comfortable discussing Thri5's technical strategy with a CIO, whiteboarding an architecture with a customer's technology team, navigating requirements with security and data teams, and working with our engineers to solve technical problems.

Technologies We Use

Thri5 works with large enterprise datasets and technology environments. Our core platform includes GCP, Snowflake, Postgres, Airflow, Kotlin, APIs, and AI/LLM technologies.

Our customers operate complex technology environments spanning ERP, merchandising, POS, order management, inventory, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure, so we're more interested in broad technical understanding and the ability to quickly understand a customer's environment than expertise in any single technology.

Who We're Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, sales engineering, technical consulting, or similar technical roles

• Demonstrated experience working directly with enterprise customers and senior technical stakeholders

• Experience working with retail technology environments and enterprise systems such as ERP, merchandising, POS, order management, inventory management, and data platforms

• Strong technical foundation across cloud architecture, APIs, data platforms, integrations, and enterprise security

• Ability to independently lead technical discovery, solution design, and technical diligence

• Ability to translate between business requirements and technical solutions

• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish credibility with both technical and business stakeholders

• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid — 4 days a week in office)
