Job summary

A leading technology and design services company in Montreal is seeking a professional to lead the implementation and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cost Management. This role requires 6-8 years of hands-on experience, including participation in full lifecycle implementations. The ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders, configure solutions, and lead testing phases. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation, migration, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cost Management, with emphasis on aligning cost, finance, and supply chain processes.
  • Engage stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements and convert them into robust functional designs.
  • Configure and tailor Oracle Fusion Cost Management to meet unique business needs across finance, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain.
  • Architect integrated solutions involving modules such as Cost Management, Inventory, Purchasing, and Order Management.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for cost management best practices and Oracle Cloud capabilities.
  • Drive integration efforts with other Oracle Cloud modules (e.g., Financials, SCM, Procurement).
  • Conduct fit-gap analyses, propose process enhancements, and ensure solution alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and manage issue resolution in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Deliver post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize solution performance.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs on Oracle Fusion Cost Management and related modules.
  • Monitor Oracle Cloud release updates and advise on leveraging new features to enhance processes.
  • Mentor junior consultants and actively contribute to HTG’s knowledge base and methodology.
  • Participate in HTG’s growth efforts through thought leadership, internal initiatives, and support in client engagements.
Requirements
  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cost Management and SCM Cloud modules.
  • Participation in 3–4 full lifecycle implementations, including at least two focused on Cost Management.
  • Strong grounding in financial accounting and cost accounting, including reporting and reconciliation.
  • Expertise in configuring Oracle Fusion costing (standard, actual, cost allocations, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of finance and supply chain integration in Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Experience across modules: Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Financials.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead engagements from design through post-go-live support.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher) and analytics.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications in Cost Management or SCM preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
