Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to either the Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) or Oshawa Elevation Centre (OEC) at least three times per week.
Lead and own the creation of Simulation Needs required to meet Propulsion Thermal milestones, including TFRP for Software, Calibration, Systems, and Features tests.
Manage CoSimulation packages used by the Propulsion Thermal Management organization, including hosting collaboration meetings with key stakeholders such as VDDV, SIL, System, Software, and Calibration teams.
Support the evaluation of CoSimulation packages through data reviews, behavioral testing, automation methods, and developing comprehensive test plans to assess software and simulation products at various system levels.
Develop and define testing strategies, including different testing levels and both manual and automated tests, to ensure first-time quality.
Understand functional, safety, and compliance requirements, and implement appropriate test plans and setups.
Provide expertise and guidance to the team to identify and resolve product problems, contributing to and sharing knowledge on common software errors, corner cases, and lessons learned.
Actively participate in the SQA scrum as a subject matter expert to facilitate Solution in context and system testing for CoSimulation Needs.
Manage and track defects identified by various stakeholders within Propulsion Thermal Management until resolution.
Lead collaboration efforts with controls, diagnostic, software cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to define effective acceptance criteria.
