Salary: $190k - $225k (Up to $275k for staff level candidates) depending on location

Currently experiencing impressive growth (3x YoY), they've doubled both their customer base and team size in 2024. Their platform is used by top ecommerce and DTC brands to analyze over $13B in media spend, and they're poised for exceptional growth as they scale their AI-powered expert agent workflows from 6 to 100+.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and maintain robust, high-performance backend APIs and services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build and enhance complex integrations with major platforms (including the challenging Meta API)
- Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and data processing workflows
- Architect scalable solutions that can grow with the company's rapid expansion
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful backend features
- Create a unified API for insights data to be leveraged across development teams
- Store and manage insights and metrics from data providers at scale
- Drive engineering advancements and help shape the platform's technical direction
Ideal Candidate Background
- 10+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale software applications
- Proven track record taking systems from "1 to 100" (not just "0 to 1" or "100 to 1000")
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
- Extensive experience with API integrations and asynchronous message queue systems
- Strong knowledge of MongoDB or similar document-based databases
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar platforms)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively
- Experience working in a remote environment with a synchronous communication style
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with OpenAI SDK or similar AI/ML services
- Experience implementing intelligent workflows for marketing applications
- Background in AdTech or marketing technology
- Experience building systems from scratch in resource-constrained environments
- Working knowledge of containerization technologies and CI/CD pipelines
