Job summary

PocketHealth is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Patient Core team to build backend services behind the patient experience. You will own architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of scalable medical imaging integrations across North America.

You’ll work with a friendly, cross-functional team in a hybrid setup—two days a week in our Toronto office—with a focus on reliability, privacy, and fast delivery, leveraging Go, TypeScript, Angular, and MySQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent/similar.
• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Backend focussed or broad Full Stack skill set.
• Experience building/maintaining scalable integrations and building customer-facing applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and design solutions that enhances functionality.
• Developing and implementing solutions to connect our platform with provider applications.
• Writing and testing your own code (unit/integration/functional testing), and peer testing others’.
• Working closely with PMs, other devs, Customer Support & Implementation teams to get feedback & continuously improve integration features.
