Job summary

Okta is seeking a software engineer to join our Privileged Access Management team, focusing on scalability, reliability, and core building blocks. You will contribute to both backend Go and frontend React work, delivering scalable architecture and an excellent user experience.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of experience in software development (Go or similar), strong React skills, PostgreSQL experience, and familiarity with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software development experience with Go or similar.
• Proficient in React or similar frontend UI stacks.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Ability to design features end-to-end from DB models to APIs and UI.
• Experience with any cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the core architecture of PAM.
• Build scalable, composable components of the platform.
• Design and implement scalable architecture patterns.
• Deliver world-class UX using the React design system.
• Design and build APIs for production infrastructure access.
• Work on backend Go and frontend React components.
