The Role

The P2P organization delivers a core product experience at Cash App. We are a seasoned team of engineers responsible for growing the Cash App user base, network, and maintaining a reliable product experience for the significant volume of money flowing through the app weekly. Engineers on this team build features supporting millions of customers and billions of dollars in transactions each week.

Work from anywhere : This role can be performed remotely from any location in North America.

You Will

• Scope, build, and scale products, systems, and services that have an immediate impact on our customers.
• Collaborate across organizations and disciplines to understand and solve problems.
• Lead and participate in critical technical design and product discussions.
• Engage in all parts of product development, working with non-engineering disciplines (Product and Design) and adjacent engineering teams (Mobile, Platform, Machine Learning, Data Science).
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call support roster for our services, supported by Cash App's core infrastructure and product teams.

You Have

• 8+ years of experience working on complex systems and delivering quality software.
• Curiosity, creativity, persistence, and a drive to accomplish tasks.
• A proven track record of healthy collaboration with product managers, engineers, and engineering managers on developing roadmaps and executing them.
• Experience building backend systems and collaborating with frontend/mobile teams.
