Job summary

Sonus Microsystems Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join a collaborative team of scientists, engineers, and innovators at the intersection of deep tech and clinical impact.

You will design, develop, verify, and integrate software for our next-generation ultrasound platform, contributing to architecture and downstream system integration. You will build software for imaging, visualization, cloud connectivity, and data management, work with hardware teams, and apply secure development

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience integrating software with hardware systems.
• Strong C/C++ and Python development experience.
• Experience creating GUIs and 2D/3D rendering.
• Experience with cloud-based services and APIs.
• Knowledge of secure software development and cybersecurity.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with modern AI tools to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, verify, and integrate software for the next-generation ultrasound platform.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Develop software for imaging, visualization, cloud connectivity, and API integration.
• Support R&D teams during characterization and data management.
• Integrate software with hardware systems across the product ecosystem.
• Apply structured software development practices from requirements to validation, including risk management and cybersecurity.
