Optro is seeking a senior software engineer to lead large, strategic projects and mentor engineers. You will design scalable systems, architect solutions, and collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end features for our AI-powered GRC Platform.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with backend APIs (Python/Node.js) and frontend work (React/Vue/Ember). Remote-friendly, with a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing web based applications.
• Experience guiding high quality work through delivery across multiple developers.
• Experience with a web framework such as Django or Rails.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Ember, Angular, etc.)
• Experience writing REST / JSON APIs (Swagger / OpenAPI Spec)
• Experience writing software tests.
• Ability to solve technical problems independently.
• BS., MS., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Motivation to work hard and always be learning.
