Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer in the CTIO team to drive core features for the Linux sensor (Falcon Host).

You will own design and development across file system, memory, process and networking, with shared components for Windows and macOS. You will collaborate with sensor teams company-wide, guide cross‑platform delivery, and own features from design to delivery, presenting demos at the end of each sprint.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of C/C++ required.
• Fundamental understanding of Linux OS internals.
• Proven experience debugging memory corruption, process contentions and performance bottlenecks.
• Demonstrated collaboration with teams to deliver major features/releases.
• Ability to lead, mentor, communicate and operate in a distributed team.
• Experience using AI technologies to enhance workflows and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sensor development teams on architecture and strategic initiatives.
• Conceptualize and develop new product features.
• Guide design and implementation for cross‑platform delivery (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Own features through the lifecycle, including sprint demos.
• Engage in cross‑functional collaboration across locations.
