The Opportunity - Senior Software Engineer I - Front End (Remote - CANADA)

As a Senior Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developer with strong expertise in modern Frontend technologies, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Design System and improving cross-team collaboration, while also providing support to fellow developers and designers.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain our Design System using ViewComponents, StimulusJS, and BEM CSS methodologies to ensure consistency and scalability across our applications.
• Detect interface patterns and determine the best solutions.
• Ensure accessibility of our website.
• Create performant and maintainable code.
• Improve our tools, processes, and best practices.
• Own feature delivery from concept to production.
• Write well-tested and well-architected code.

What You'll Have

• Experience developing and shipping web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with modern Rails Frontend technologies like Hotwire (Turbo and StimulusJS).
• Understanding of design principles and experience collaborating with designers.
• Ability to handle full features from concept to production with minimal supervision.
• 5+ years of web development experience, including 2+ years as a Senior Frontend developer.
• Fluency in JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
